What does this service include?

This is assembly of kitchen units you’ve already bought, with plumbing, electrical and extractor connections. The new kitchen has been purchased by you at IKEA, Leroy Merlin, BAUHAUS, a local kitchen studio or online, and we leave it fully functional. If you want a full renovation (rip out flooring, retile, move drains), see the complete kitchen renovation page.

We cover:

  • Reading of the assembly plan and on-site measurements check
  • Assembly of wall, base and tall units
  • Wall fixing with brackets and ironmongery to suit (plasterboard, brick, concrete — each requires different fixings)
  • Worktop installation in laminate, postformed, granite or porcelain (granite comes pre-cut from the factory)
  • Cut-outs for sink and hob
  • Sink, taps and waste trap installation
  • Induction / ceramic / gas hob connection
  • Built-in oven and microwave installation
  • Extractor hood installation with façade vent or carbon filter
  • Built-in or panelled fridge installation
  • Plinth, end panels and perimeter silicone

How long does it take?

  • Small IKEA kitchen (10–14 units, no stone worktop): 2–3 days
  • Medium IKEA kitchen (15–25 units, laminate worktop): 3–4 days
  • Mid-range Spanish kitchen (Forlady, Ikea, AKL), porcelain/granite worktop: 4–6 days
  • High-end kitchen (Bulthaup, SieMatic, Leicht): 5–8 days (they often come with their own installers; we handle prep)

The manufacturing lead times of the kitchen are separate: IKEA usually has stock, bespoke Spanish kitchens take 4–8 weeks, premium German ones 8–14 weeks.

How much does it cost?

2026 assembly labour (you provide the kitchen) — includes plumbing, electrical, extractor and final commissioning:

  • IKEA kitchen 10–14 units, complete assembly: €2,500 – €3,500
  • IKEA kitchen 15–25 units, complete assembly: €3,500 – €4,800
  • Mid-range Spanish kitchen (complete assembly with extractor and appliances): €4,000 – €5,800
  • High-end kitchen (Bulthaup, SieMatic, Leicht — coordination with brand installers + prep work): €5,000 – €7,000
  • Extractor with new façade vent installation: €350 – €750 depending on duct metres and difficulty
  • Reopening of an extractor pass on the façade: €450 – €900
  • Connection of appliances (hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher): €280 – €550 as a set

If anyone offers to “fit a kitchen for €800”, the quote excludes plumbing, extractor, silicone finishing, testing, or invoicing. Always ask for a breakdown. We don’t compete on that price — we hand over a kitchen ready to use, with everything connected, tested and cleaned.

How do we work?

  1. Free visit before purchase. We help you measure properly and avoid typical mistakes (out-of-square walls, kitchen columns blocking a window, a fridge that won’t open because it hits the wall).
  2. We receive the units. You order them or we can if the store offers it (IKEA delivers to first floor as standard).
  3. Assembly. We start with base units, worktop, sink, hob. Then wall units and extractor. Connections last.
  4. Testing. We power up the hob, oven and extractor. We fill the sink, check drainage, look for leaks in the waste trap. We adjust doors and drawers.
  5. Handover. Detailed clean, packaging removal (we leave it at your local recycling point or take it away for +€80).

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy the kitchen or do I bring it? You. Our service is assembly. If you want us to supply it too, contract complete kitchen renovations — there we offer the complete kitchen.

Will you help me choose a kitchen? Yes, free visit and we tell you what works in your space before you order at the shop. We’ve seen too many disasters from “buying the kitchen at IKEA looking at a 3D drawing” without proper measurement.

Do you change plumbing or electrical points? Small changes (raise a socket 30 cm, extend a waste pipe) yes. Structural changes (move a light point to another wall, change the sink water connection) is a renovation, not installation.

Warranty? 2 years on assembly labour. Units and appliances carry manufacturer warranty (IKEA 25 years on METOD units; oven and hob 2 years, extendable).

Do you work weekends? Yes in holiday lets that need to minimise downtime. 20% surcharge.

Do you speak English? Yes. Bilingual Spanish–English team and an English-speaking project manager for international clients. We coordinate the entire installation with you by WhatsApp/email while you’re out of the country if needed — photographic assembly reports, quotes and invoices also in English.
