What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that allow websites to recognise return visits, remember preferences and measure site use. Some are set by us; others by third-party services we rely on (analytics, maps, anti-fraud). Where a service is optional, it only activates after you've given consent through the banner.
Our consent model
On your first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject two categories:
- Analytics — how pages perform, which content is useful and whether the forms work.
- Advertising — measuring the effectiveness of the ads we run on Meta / Facebook.
You can change your choice at any time via the cookies link in the footer. Strictly necessary cookies (those that make the site work) are set regardless of consent.

Third-party cookies in embedded services
The quote form embeds Google Maps, Places autocomplete and Street View to help you describe the property. When these components load, they may set Google cookies (such as NID, SID, HSID, 1P_JAR) governed by Google's cookie policy. They only load when you navigate to /quote.
Consent mode and data redaction
If you reject advertising consent, we activate Google's ads_data_redaction flag, which strips advertising identifiers from any analytics signalling. If you reject all consent, GA4 doesn't load — neither the measurement script nor the cookies.
Managing cookies
You can change your consent at any time — click the cookies link in the footer and toggle Analytics / Advertising. You can also clear this site's cookies in your browser to be asked again.
Browser controls
All modern browsers let you reject or clear cookies. Check your browser's help for the details. Bear in mind that rejecting strictly necessary cookies may break features such as theme switching, the consent banner or the form's anti-spam protection.
