What does this service include?

We work with the brands that survive a coastal summer: Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, LG and Samsung, with R-32 inverter technology so your electricity bill doesn’t spike in July. We cover:

• System design based on m² and the orientation of each room
• Installation of 1×1 splits (one outdoor compressor, one indoor unit)
• Multi-split systems (2×1, 3×1, 4×1) for flats and villas
• Ducted systems for full renovations
• Replacement of older units (R-22, R-410A) with current R-32
• Preventive maintenance: filter cleaning, gas recharge, drainage
• Fault repair and leak diagnosis

Every quote includes an authorised installer certificate, manufacturer warranty registered in your name, and a full site clean once we finish. We work with a bilingual Spanish–English team and an English-speaking project manager for international clients — all communication, quotes and invoices are also available in English.

How long does it take?

A standard split unit is installed in one day, two at most if pipework needs to run through a suspended ceiling or external trunking. A 3-unit multi-split in a typical flat takes 2–3 days. A ducted system for a whole home: 5–10 days depending on surface area and plasterboard works required.

Preventive maintenance on a split takes 45–60 minutes per unit, with one visit a year recommended before summer.

How much does it cost?

Honest 2026 ranges, complete installation with Tier 1 branded equipment, qualified labour and registered warranty:

• Single 1×1 split installed: €1,200 – €2,200
• High-end 1×1 split (premium inverter, concealed pipework installation): €1,800 – €3,500
• 2×1 multi-split: €2,400 – €4,500
• 3×1 multi-split: €3,500 – €7,000
• Ducted system for a 100 m² home: €7,000 – €14,000
• Annual maintenance per unit: €90 – €160
• R-32 gas recharge: €180 – €320

The final price depends on the distance between indoor and outdoor units (metres of copper pipework), whether a wall pass is needed on a protected façade, and accessibility. A site visit is mandatory before a firm quote — “over the phone” prices mislead everyone.

What we deliver isn’t the cheapest option on the market. It’s qualified work with top-tier materials, clear communication (also in English), photographic sign-off on completion, and real after-sales support. The difference compared to low-cost quotes shows after 2–3 summers: equipment that’s still running, a valid warranty, and a contact who answers WhatsApp.

How do we work?

1. Free site visit. We measure rooms, check the viable location for the outdoor unit and pipework routes.
2. Firm quote within 24–48 hours. We detail brand, model, capacity in frigorías, materials and warranty. No surprise charges.
3. Installation. We arrive with the equipment, protect floors and furniture, install, vacuum, charge gas and test in cooling and heating modes.
4. Handover and training. We show you how to use the remote, the app if included, and register the manufacturer warranty in your name.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a council licence to install air conditioning? In most Costa del Sol municipalities, no — but yes in protected zones (historic centres, communities with aesthetic rules). We check first and handle paperwork if required.

Can I put the outdoor unit anywhere? No. It needs ventilation, it can’t face a neighbour’s bedroom, and some communities require a grille or specific location. We verify during the visit.

Inverter or non-inverter? Inverter, always. The price difference is recovered in consumption over 2–3 summers on the Costa del Sol.

How many frigorías do I need? Rule of thumb: 100 frig/m² for normal rooms, 130–150 for living rooms with south-facing glazing. We calculate exactly during the visit.

Do you offer emergency service in mid-August? Yes, but with a waiting list. In summer we prioritise clients with annual maintenance contracts.
