What does this service include?

We work as authorised installers with a boletín number (REBT — Reglamento Electrotécnico para Baja Tensión, Spain’s low-voltage electrical regulations). This means we can sign the electrical installation certificate (CIE) that Endesa requires to connect supply or increase contracted power. Without a boletín, there’s no electricity in a new or renovated home.

We cover:

  • Complete new electrical installation (home, premises, office)
  • Replacement of old consumer units with modern units fitted with super-immunised RCDs and MCBs
  • Increase in contracted power and paperwork with the utility
  • Electrical boletín certificates (CIE) for new connections or change of name on installations >20 years old
  • Fault solving: short circuits, RCD tripping, dead sockets
  • Installation of electric vehicle charging points (Wallbox, Schneider, up to 22 kW)
  • LED lighting, recessed spots, LED strips
  • Protection panels for pools and outdoor zones
  • Basic home automation (KNX, Loxone, Shelly)
  • Earth leak and fault detection with locator equipment

How long does it take?

  • Emergency fault (no power, RCD tripping): same day or next
  • Socket / switch / lamp change: 30–60 min per point
  • New consumer unit: 1 day
  • CIE boletín for existing home: 1–2 days (inspection + paperwork)
  • Complete electrical installation 80 m² home: 5–10 days
  • EV charging point: 1 day
  • KNX home automation in a 100 m² home: 1–2 weeks

How much does it cost?

Honest 2026 prices, authorised installer with boletín and branded materials:

  • Callout and fault diagnosis: €120 – €180 (deductible if you proceed with the repair)
  • Out-of-hours or emergency callout (evening/night/weekend): €180 – €350
  • Socket / switch replacement: €30 – €60 per unit + travel
  • Light fitting change: €70 – €130 per point
  • New consumer unit (12 elements, super-immunised RCD): €750 – €1,400
  • CIE boletín for existing home: €280 – €500 + official fees
  • Complete installation in 80 m² home (refurbishment): €4,000 – €8,500
  • Complete installation in 200 m² villa: €9,000 – €16,000
  • Single-phase 7.4 kW EV charging point (Wallbox): €1,500 – €2,200 installed (before MOVES III subsidy)
  • Three-phase 22 kW charging point: €2,200 – €3,200
  • KNX home automation, mid-range home: €5,500 – €15,000

What you pay for isn’t your average electrician callout. You’re paying for an authorised installer with a boletín number, a written fixed quote, an invoice with the correct tax details for deduction, communication in English if you need it, and real after-sales backup.

How do we work?

  1. Visit / video call for diagnosis. For minor faults we sometimes resolve by video call (a blown fuse, replacing a thermostat battery). For new installations, free site visit.
  2. Firm quote. For jobs under €150, we give a price by phone with the information you provide. For anything larger, a written quote.
  3. Execution. With scheduled power cuts where needed (we warn you in advance). We protect floors and furniture.
  4. Boletín and certificates. If the works require a CIE, we sign it and submit it to the Department of Industry. We give you a copy for Endesa.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my RCD keep tripping? There’s an earth leak somewhere. Common causes: old electric water heater, washing machine with a damp cable, sockets in bathroom or terrace with moisture. We locate it with a megger in 1–2 hours and repair.

Do I need a boletín if I buy an old flat? Yes, if the installation is more than 20 years old (with no previous certification) or if you’re going to increase contracted power. Without a CIE, Endesa won’t transfer supply to your name.

How much power should I contract? Average 50–80 m² home with AC: 5.75 kW. Villas with ducted AC, induction hob and electric oven: 9.2 – 14.5 kW. If you have an EV charging point, add it to the calculation.

What about three-phase? Only if you have heavy equipment (industrial climate control, vehicle charging >7.4 kW, workshops). For a normal home, single-phase is plenty.

Subsidies for EV charging points? Yes, the MOVES III plan covers up to 70% for private individuals (with limits). We help with the application at no extra cost if you contract us for the installation.

Do you deal with the utility for new connections? Yes, we handle the boletín, submission to Industry, and the application for connection with Endesa, Iberdrola or Naturgy.

Do you speak English? Yes. Bilingual team and an English-speaking project manager for international clients. We handle boletines and utility paperwork in your name — you receive a copy of all documentation translated if you ask. It’s what most of our clients — British, German, Swedish and Dutch owners — need.
