Painting
Professional painting for homes, communities and commercial premises on the Costa del Sol. Interior, exterior, stipple, smoothing. Clean finishes and fixed prices.
What does this service include?
Conventional roller and brush painting — the long-established system. It works well for typical flats, individual rooms, small premises, communities, staircases and common areas. For large surfaces (>120 m² or extensive façades), airless painting usually pays off more.
We cover:
- Interior painting of homes (walls, ceilings, joinery)
- Repainting of existing gotelé stipple
- Smoothing of gotelé (scrape + paste application + sanding + priming + paint)
- Exterior painting of façades, party walls, fences
- Painting of staircases and common areas of communities
- Enamelling of doors, windows, skirting, radiators
- Plastic emulsion, satin or matt finish according to use
- Crack and chip repair with filler before painting
- Priming of new or highly absorbent surfaces
Typical paints: Procolor, Bruguer, Titán Esmaltes. For exteriors on the Costa del Sol, pliolite or silicate — they handle the sun and salt air better than standard plastic emulsion.
How long does it take?
- Individual 12 m² room (walls and ceiling, two coats): 1 day
- 70 m² flat interior repainted same colour: 2–3 days
- 70 m² flat interior with colour change and two coats: 3–4 days
- Smoothing gotelé in a 70 m² flat: 5–7 days
- 150 m² linear villa façade: 3–5 days
- Enamelling 5 doors + frames: 2–3 days
How much does it cost?
2026 prices all-in — branded paint, qualified labour, protection and final cleaning:
- Plastic emulsion white one coat: €8 – €10 / m²
- Plastic emulsion colour two coats: €10 – €13 / m²
- Painting with minor prep (sanding, filling, cracks): €12 – €15 / m²
- Gotelé smoothing: €25 – €40 / m²
- Synthetic enamel on doors (two faces, frame): €180 – €320 per door
- Radiator enamelling: €100 – €180 per unit
- Exterior pliolite paint: €12 – €17 / m²
- Premium mineral silicate exterior: €15 – €20 / m²
Service minimum: €450 – €650 for us to come out. For a single small wall it’s not worth it for anyone — we tell you so even if we lose the job.
We don’t compete on low quotes. The difference shows in the finish: branded paint applied in the right conditions lasts twice as long as the cheap stuff, looks more uniform, and doesn’t peel at joints in 12 months. We work for clients who’ve already been through a botched paint job once.
How do we work?
- Free visit. We measure surfaces, assess condition, advise on colours with physical samples if needed.
- Firm quote. m², number of coats, paint brand and finish, timescale. No surprises on the final invoice.
- Protection. We cover floors with site plastic and tape, protect furniture left in the room, remove socket plates.
- Surface preparation. Sanding, filling cracks, priming if needed.
- Application. One or two coats per contract, with adequate drying time between coats.
- Cleaning and handover. We remove protections, touch up details, leave the home clean.
Frequently asked questions
Plastic matt, satin or enamel? Plastic matt for interior walls (warmer, hides imperfections). Satin for bathrooms and kitchens (resists humidity and cleans better). Enamel for doors, windows, skirting and radiators (harder, resists scuffs).
How long before I can move back in after painting? 4–6 hours so you don’t breathe solvents with water-based emulsion. For synthetic enamel (more odour), 24–48 hours with ventilation.
Do all the furniture have to come out? No, we move it to the centre of the room and cover it with plastic. If you want to paint behind fixed cupboards too, they need to come out first (not our job, but we can coordinate).
How does cheap paint hold up vs. premium? A cheap plastic emulsion can degrade in 3–4 years in sunny spots; mid-range brands last 7–10 years; premium paint 12–15 years. Labour is the same. It’s worth upgrading if you don’t want to repaint in 5 years.
Do you paint communities of neighbours? Yes, with a quote to the community. We work in coordination with the administrator. Better in autumn or winter when there’s less tourism.
Do you serve international owners? Yes. Most of our clients are — British, German, Swedish, Dutch. We have a bilingual team and an English-speaking project manager who coordinates the works with you by WhatsApp/email while you’re out of the country. Photographic reports, quotes and invoices also in English.
